Pune, 8th February 2020: India’s largest multi-genre music festival continued to roar through day 2 with dynamic performances from the dance music sensation Diplo, the iconic American rock band Fever 333, and many more. While Homeboys Divine and Prateek Kuhad caused a stir amongst the fans on Day 1, the extravagant multi-genre line up ensured continuity of stellar music for the festivalgoers on Day 2 as well. The unique experiences evoked fandom with a string of powerful performances and activities to indulge in. Resonating with the vibe of the festival, Day 2 culminated with a surreal ambience with ecstatic fans taking back a wholesome experience and eagerly awaiting the final day of the festival.

An alluring vibe took over the festival with Diplo’s debut performance as he performed to a lot of his foot tapping hits and a few peppy Indian numbers which left the fans dancing. Fever 333’s vocalist Jason Aalon Butler’s crowd-surfing moment along with their head banging beats left the crowd screaming for more! Gryffin’s tropical house and future bass tracks left the audience in a state of frenzy, while Ilario Alicante’s tunes left them wanting for more. Speaking about the overwhelming response from day 2 of Vh1 Supersonic 2020 Mahesh Shetty, Head - Network Sales, Viacom18, said, “When Diplo takes on to the stage, you let go of all your inhibitions, and dance. That’s exactly what happened at the end of Day 2. But the magic went beyond Diplo and the response we received for day 2 of this extravaganza was phenomenal. Fans turned up in gigantic numbers, with the reach accounting to much more when compared with previous years. International artists were fabulous with their performances and the Indian sensations matched up to them in every aspect resulting in a day that saw a mash up of exciting genres of music. The wide range of experiences at the festival added to the vibrant musical energy. I look forward to the final day of Vh1 Supersonic 2020 and am certain the festival will end with uplifted spirits and memories that fans will hold onto for a lifetime.”

Alexander Lambrecht, Vice President Marketing - South Asia, AB-InBev said, “With the emergence of streaming services and domestic artists achieving international accolades, Indians are now more open to consuming varied genres of music globally. Keeping that in mind, Budweiser 0.0’s long term association with Vh1 Supersonic is targeted at bringing together an unparalleled experience for the audience by presenting international music sensations under one roof with dynamic experiences for them to engage in. We were ecstatic to see day 2 of the festival culminate with prominent success. The Budweiser Brew District continued to remain a major attraction among the fans while the Budweiser Viewing Stage indulged brand loyalists to an unprecedented view of the epic performances. The final day of the festival is sure to be a stellar experience which music aficionados will remember for days to come”

However, it wasn’t the music alone; scrumptious food and savvy merchandise added to the fervour, with the Super Flea and the glorious Beer Garden continuing to be amongst the popular spots for the attendees. Hours of dancing also led the fans to the De-Stress zone where they chilled and rejuvenated before getting ready for their next favourite performances. About Vh1 Supersonic Festival:

The origin of India’s most beloved dance music festival traces back to the warm sands of Candolem in Goa 2013. What started as a beachside festival celebrating EDM in its niche avatar in 2013 grew into a community of artists and enthusiasts alike coming together year after year for the love of music. Vh1 Supersonic over the years ceased to be just an EDM driven music festival but transforming into a multi genre experiential dance music festival & a festival vibe that no other can offer. The festival offers a plethora of experiences apart from just music like flea market, experience zone, immersive and beautiful art, after parties etc. Current plan for the festival is a 3-day multi genre music festival in February 2019 at Pune.
