Monika Shergill roped in as Content Head for Viacom18 Digital Ventures

Mumbai, 24th September, 2015: Viacom18, India’s fastest growing multi-platform entertainment networks with a competitive footprint in the broadcast space, today announced the appointment of Monika Shergill as the Content Head of Viacom18 Digital Ventures. As a part of her mandate, Monika will be responsible for driving Content & programming strategy for Viacom18’s new digital business and will be reporting to Gaurav Gandhi.

Monika has close to 20 years of experience in the broadcast industry in creating content, mounting big scale productions, running network teams for channel brands and being responsible for budgets and promotions. Prior to joining Viacom18 Digital Ventures, Monika has held various leadership postions with Star India, Sony Entertainment Television, Zee Telefilms Ltd. and SAB TV.
